Update: 31-01-2018 | 10:25:17

That was the direction of Mai Hung Dung, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, at sum-up conference on 2017 taxation, which took place in morning of January 24. Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dung appreciated efforts of the tax sector in 2017 and affirmed that although the budget revenue target of 2017 set by Ministry of Finance was higher compared to the ability, the whole sector achieved VND 32,609 billion of budget revenue (equal to 95% target of MOF and 94.5% of target of provincial People’s Council).

Mr. Dung stressed that in 2018, the economic situation still faced many difficulties, affecting not only the economic development but also the balance of revenue and expenditure of local budget. Therefore, the tax sector should have specific solutions to perform tasks in 2018. In particular, the tax sector should pay attention to a number of tasks, such as management of revenue sources, raising revenue; strengthening the inspection and examination of taxation, especially the inspection against price transfer; applying information technology and intensifying the supervision to combat tax evasion to strictly handle tax arrears; strengthening information and propaganda about budget collection… to complete budget collection targets in 2018 assigned by Ministry of Finance and provincial People's Council.
