On the afternoon of October 11, the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh city, in coordination with Binh Duong province and relevant units, organized a ceremony to plant friendship trees between Vietnam and India at the second campus of Thu Dau Mot University, Thoi Hoa ward, Ben Cat city. The ceremony was attended by the Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh city - Madan Mohan Sethi, leaders of relevant departments and agencies of the province and Ben Cat city, as well as lecturers and students of Thu Dau Mot University.

At the ceremony, delegates and students planted various trees originating from India - burma padauk, a type of tall, woody tree with beautiful flowers of gentle fragrance, suitable for urban spaces.

Choosing Burma padauk is also a symbol of sustainability and endurance, which contributes to conveying the message of protecting the environment and strengthening the friendship between Vietnam and India.
