Enterprise production and business in the first 5 months of 2013 keep growing despite the remaining challenges. In May, industrial production value reached VND 11,170.6 billion or 5.8% higher than in previous month, in which domestic sectors were accounted for VND 3,700 billion, FDI VND 7,400 billion, 5.1% and 6.2% respectively higher than previous month. In the month, value increase also was seen in exploiting, processing, and power industries.Data of Department of Industry and Trade showed that the accummulated value in the first 5 months of 2013 has reached over VND 51,533 billion or 11.4% higher than previous period.The major products of such increase included bar and cube steel, herbicide, rubber and plastic, shoes, drinking water, chemical paints, etc. Thus, industrial production value has reached 31.3% of the projected plan of Binh Duong Province.Reported by Thanh Hong – Translated by Vi Bao
