One of the latest activities related to the content of propaganda, introduction, information and tourism promotion carried out by the provincial Tourism Promotion Center is to participate in introducing information and promoting images of Binh Duong tourism at the 18th Ho Chi Minh city Tourism Festival 2022 attracting the attention of many tourists.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, Director of the provincial Tourism Promotion Center, said that in order to implement the tourism promotion in 2022, from the beginning of the year, the provincial Tourism Promotion Center has participated in the promotion of tourism to introduce and promote Binh Duong tourism in some provinces and cities. Responding to the invitation of the Ho Chi Minh city Tourism Promotion Center, from May 12 to 17, the center participated in providing tourist information at the 18th Ho Chi Minh city Tourism Festival 2022 to introduce and promote information as well as tourism products of Binh Duong province to a large number of tourists. The booth providing Binh Duong tourism information at the festival displayed many pictures combined with video clips to promote Binh Duong tourism.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, the opportunity was for businesses operating in the field of tourism to approach and introduce tourism products, services, and promotions to domestic and foreign tourists, especially the Ho Chi Minh city tourism market. Therefore, the center invited a number of units in the province to introduce and provide information within the center's booth and received the attention of many visitors.

What was attractive to people and tourists in Binh Duong tourism stall at this tourism festival was also the presence of typical traditional handicraft production facilities of the province. In order to support establishments to introduce special products of their units and to contribute to connecting tourism and attracting tourists to Binh Duong in the coming time, the provincial Tourism Promotion Center has cooperated with the handicraft production establishments in the province to display, introduce and sell products of lacquer, pottery, bamboo and rattan, wooden clogs, products made from pomelos of Tan Uyen land etc. Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh added that people and tourists participating in the festival were very interested and loved those tourism gift products of Binh Duong. The center also arranged staff to explain during the opening time to introduce, answer questions or guide visitors to contact the facilities to buy the products if needed. “Hopefully, the rich information about Binh Duong tourism that the center has provided along with the incentive programs and tourism stimulus that businesses have launched and beautiful tourist gift products would, in the near future, make tourists choose Binh Duong a good destination," Minh said.

To get tourists to Binh Duong

As recored, during the 4 days of the festival, the number of visitors to visit and learn about tourism information at this year's Ho Chi Minh city Tourism Festival amounted to 150,000. Particularly, the booth of Binh Duong Tourism Promotion Center participating in the festival has received the attention of many people and visitors. Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh said that during the festival, the center's tourist information booth served tens of thousands of visitors who are potential tourists for Binh Duong tourism in the near future.

In addition to introducing, propagating and promoting Binh Duong tourism information and images through publications, tourism gift products, and stimulus programs of travel agencies, the event was also an opportunity to connect with localities and partners to get tourists to Binh Duong. Within the framework of the festival, forums and seminars on tourism were also available to help the Provincial Tourism Promotion Center as well as the province's tourism businesses access a lot of current information about vital issues under the current social concern.
