Inheriting achievements, solidarity and creativity are the foundation for Binh Duong to develop

After 25 years of construction and development, Binh Duong has gained many outstanding achievements, becoming one of the country’s leading localities in socio-economic development.

Talking to Binh Duong Newspaper’s reporter, Nguyen Minh Giao, former member of provincial Party Standing Committee, former Head of provincial Party Committee's Propaganda-Education Commission said that Binh Duong had obtained many achievements that can be said to be miracles from many factors over the past 25 years. Particularly, an important fundamental factor is that the province has inherited the development achievements of the previous generations, especially in terms of experience in investment attraction, concentrated industrial facilities, infrastructure, human resources... These were the premises for development.

In addition, the local Party, government and people upheld the tradition of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, striving to overcome difficulties to develop Binh Duong into a dynamically developing industrial province in the southern key economic region from a low start. An decisive factor was the solidarity and unity in the Party, researching and building a leadership and direction method in the entire process of the local socio-economic development. The local Party government always appreciated and upheld the local comparative advantages at a maximum level, thereby effectively mobilizing, tapping and using resources for development.

In terms of expectations for the scientific workshop on “Following tradition, Binh Duong province with a quarter century: Achievements and prospects", Mr. Giao hoped that through this seminar, he will draw lessons from experience about the 25 years of the local construction and development as well as gaining many exact opinions from experts, scientists and managers for Binh Duong to add to the local socio-economic development strategy for the next period.
