The local website’s structure is introduced.

The provincial website is to offer information on the Party’s instructions, policies and documents and publicize administrative procedures, replies citizens’ online letters relating to the Party and State’s policies and laws. The website is managed by the local department of Information and Communications under the support of the Center for E-Information.

The website has been under archives at the provincial Database Center and under connection of T78 post office system located at Binh Duong Telecommunication.

In terms of Vietnamese edition, implementing the Government regulations on internet service management and usage and access assurance of state agencies, the department steered the center to ensure provision, meeting contents as stipulated at Article 28 of IT law for the State agencies’ websites. Besides, the website is a plentiful document source on administration procedure and norms…

In the first 5 months of this year, the website was highly assessed by Google Analyties – the website specializes in assessing the rate of users of websites on the global. The local website received 545,322 users with 1,130,851 accesses from Jan. 1, 2010 to May 31, 2010, a double rise compared to Nov. 2009. Among 120,201 users, there are users from 53 nations getting accesses the website.

At present, the center has faced difficulties to develop English version on the website and lacked manpower owing to high working pressure and so on. Recently, at a meeting on the website’s first five month operation, the province vice chairman Nguyen Van Hiep steered that to enhance the local website’s quality in the coming time, the department should offer exactly, timely information contents on daily operations of local leaders, check and add timely database on local economy, politics, socio-culture, as well as ensure access and good connection with the provincial agencies and units’ web pages.
