On July 13 and 14, Phu Giao district’s Trade Union held its 5th congress for the 2023-2028 tenure.

In the last tenure, Phu Giao district’s Trade Union effectively performed the work of representing, caring for and protecting trade unionists, employees ‘legitimate rights and interests. The district’s trade union cooperated with relevant units to mobilize organizations and individuals to build and donate 8 “trade union” houses to workers in need of housing; supported more than 50 cases of trade unionists and workers suffering from fatal illness and accidents with a total amount of VND 550 million...The district’s trade union recommended 826 outstanding trade unionists to the Party for consideration, training and admission. As a result, 454 outstanding trade unionists were admitted to the Party...

The congress set out directions, tasks and solutions for implementation in the new tenure. Particularly, the district’s trade unions at all levels will further innovate, be creative in caring for and protecting trade unionists, employees ‘legitimate rights and interests.

In addition, the congress elected the Executive Board of the district’s 5^th Trade Union for the 2023-2028 tenure with 15 members. Nguyen Thi Nga continued being elected as Chairwoman of the district’s Labor Union for the new tenure.
