On February 10, Market Management Office of Binh Duong province inspected and supervised petrol shops in the province in order to prevent speculation, hoarding, and unreasonable price increases.

Following the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Market Management Office has directed affiliated market management teams to continue to closely managing the area, regularly monitor, grasp the situation, and supervise petrol shops in the province.

During the day, three teams from the Provincial Market Management Office and Market Management Team No. 1 inspected gas stations along National Highway 13. As a result, these stores operate normally, and the force has not detected any speculation, hoarding, and unreasonable price increases. Suppliers have also fully supplied goods after Tet, stabilizing the gasoline market.

The province has 445 petrol shops. Reports from wholesalers and distributors show that the supply of petrol is still guaranteed for distributors and petrol retailers in the province.

According to Provincial Market Management Office, in the coming time, monitoring, grasping the situation and checking the observance of regulations in petrol business will continue to be strengthened to prevent the hoarding of goods, scarcity of gasoline supply, contributing to protecting the interests of consumers. The Office asked its units, as detecting signs of violations, to carry out unexpected inspections, verify and clarify relevant contents and circumstances, and promptly handle violations to make deterrent.
