Inspection of terminals, parking lots in Di An implemented

Update: 30-09-2022 | 11:14:19

At the beginning of August, 2022, Binh Duong Newspaper published an article on "Di An city: Restoring the order of terminals, parking lots in residential areas". This article reflected the operations of many container and truck yards on main roads and in residential areas in Di An city, affecting people's lives. Therefore, the city’s functional sectors need to soon take measures to manage and correct their operations.

Specifically, in meetings with deputies of the National Assembly, the 2-level People's Councils, many voters in Di An city reflected that the operations of these container and  truck yards caused environmental pollution and affected the local security and order. Regarding the above issue, the People's Committee of Di An city asked for the wards to review and synthesize the list of container and truck yards to the city’s Urban Management Division. On that basis, the city’s People's Committee established an inter-sectoral inspection team on the operations of the local terminals and parking lots. From the inspection results, the city’s People's Committee will meet with functional agencies to find solutions to develop the operations of the local terminals and parking lots in line with the local actual conditions and land fund.

Recently, speaking at a meeting organized by the city’s Traffic Safety Committee, Nguyen Thanh Huy, Vice-Chairman of the city’s People's Committee said that in 2021, the locality set up a plan to organize a general inspection tour of the local terminals and parking lots, but it was delayed temporarily, due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic.  Therefore, the city’s People's Committee proposed the city’s Urban Management Division to soon implement a joint plan on checking the operations of the local terminals and parking lots. The results of the inspection tour will help the city promptly adjust planning for the local terminals and parking lots in line with the local development situation as well as putting an end to the situation of large trucks running into residential areas, causing unsafety in  traffic.

It is known that up to now, the city’s Urban Management Division in collaboration with relevant units has inspected the operations of terminals and parking lots in  Di An, Tan Dong Hiep and An Binh wards.
