The International Teenager Art Festival was held in the Hanoi Children’s Palace on March 24, with the participation of children from Russia, Japan and Vietnam.

The festival helped audiences learn more about the three countries and contributed to strengthening friendship between Vietnamese people and other nations in the world.

It also aimed to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and 71st anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Pioneer Unit.

Addressing the programme, the Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), Vu Thi Hai, said that the event offered an opportunity for Vietnamese and international children to exchange and learn more about cultures through songs and dances of the three countries.

Aleksey Yu. Lavrentiev, Director of the Russian Centre of Science and Culture, emphasized that this was a festival of peace and friendship.

The event was co-organized by the VUFO and the Russian Centre of Science and Culture.
