Inter-ministerial working delegation of Kingdom of Cambodia appreciates Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Model

On January 18th, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting and working session with the inter-ministerial delegation from the Kingdom of Cambodia, led by Dr. Phan Phalla, Undersecretary of State for the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Secretary-General of the Economic and Financial Policy Committee of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The delegation visited to learn from the experiences of economic and social development cooperation in Binh Duong province.

At the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Minh provided an overview of the socio-economic development of the province, highlighting its notable features in attracting investment and foreign relations. He stated that Binh Duong is the third-ranked industrialized province in Vietnam, attracting over 40 billion US dollars in foreign investment. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also provided information on the success of the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP), highlighting the important role of Becamex IDC Corporation in contributing to the overall development of the province and the country.

Dr. Phan Phalla expresses gratitude to the provincial leadership for facilitating the visit to the province's most advanced industrial parks. Furthermore, through this visit, he affirms that the delegation has gained valuable experiences in planning, investment, and land reclamation for the development of Vietnam-Singapore industrial parks. Dr. Phan Phalla expressed admiration for the success of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks and the new city center in Binh Duong. "We hope that the leaders of Binh Duong province and Becamex IDC Corporation will visit Cambodia and we also hope that Cambodia will have industrial development models similar to Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks in Vietnam. We cordially invite Becamex IDC to invest in Cambodia," said Dr. Phan Phalla.
