Internal affairs and judicial reforms gain encouraging results

On the afternoon of July 19, Binh Duong provincial Party Committee held a conference to review activities of internal affairs, prevention and combat of corruption and negativity, and judicial reforms in the first 6 months of the year while implementing orientations and tasks for the last 6 months of 2023. Attending the event were Nguyen Hoang Thao, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Vo Van Ba, Standing Member, Head of the Internal Affairs of the provincial Party Committee, leaders of departments, agencies, units and localities in the province.

In the first 6 months of 2023, the political security situation, social order and safety have been maintained stably. The anti-corruption and judicial reforms continued to be carried out with outstanding results, such as well implementing social security policies, ensuring security among workers, proactively coordinating stable settlement of collective work stoppages related to workers' policies and regimes. In the attacking and suppressing all kinds of criminals, of 820 detected cases, 688 were investigated and clarified to arrest nearly 1,410.

The inspection has timely detected, rectified and overcome inadequacies in management, opening up way for proposed handling of law violations to recover and pay VD 23 billion 790 million to the State budget. The anti-corruption has been promoted. As a result of the investigation, 20 cases are being handled with 28 defendants; prosecution and adjudication are strictly carried out according to regulations.

Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Hoang Thao acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of the authorities over the past time. In the coming time, departments, agencies, units and localities need to focus on grasping the situation, forecasting, and offering solutions to ensure the stability of the situation at the grassroots level, well implementing the motto of "Safety and proactive security” to strengthen measures to manage unmanned aerial vehicles to ensure safety and security.
