Internal affairs, anti-corruption, waste, negative practices and judicial reform under review
Early January 3, provincial Party Standing Committee held a meeting to review the local internal affairs, anti-corruption waste, negative practices and judicial reform in 2024, deploy key tasks and directions for 2025. The meeting was chaired by Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee.
Reportedly, provincial Party committees and authorities at all levels focused on leading, directing and promptly implementing central directives on national security work, crime prevention & control and judicial reform, in line with the specific conditions of localities in 2024. Relevant agencies effectively carried out their assigned tasks. As a result, the local political security and social order & safety were maintained and stabilized.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Minh recommended provincial Commission for Internal Affairs, Steering Committees for Anti-Corruption, Waste and Negative Practices and Party Committees at all levels, along with relevant agencies in the province to focus on several key tasks, including further studying the major guidelines of the Party and the Government to effectively advise on and implement internal affairs. The Internal Affairs sector should also collaborate with the inspection and supervision sectors to review and draw lessons from State management in certain areas, resolve bottlenecks and obstacles in the application of laws and address the situation of evading responsibilities or shirking duties, which have been hindering the local socio-economic development. The Internal Affairs sector should actively contribute to preparations for Party Congresses at all levels in the province for the 2025-2030 term, focusing on evaluating anti-corruption, waste and negative practices during the 2020-2025 term as directed by the Government. Additionally, they should implement decisive measures to create a strong shift in the fight against wastefulness in the coming time.
At the conference, the organization board awarded the "For the Cause of Party Internal Affairs" mementoes to 10 individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the building and development of the Party's internal affairs work.
