International kite festival opens in Vung Tau

 The second international kite festival 2010 opened in Vung Tau City on March 26.

The event has attracted 69 artisans from 24 countries and territories, including Canada, New Zealand and India as well as 70 domestic artisans with a total of 300 kites.

Vietnam has four teams, three from three different regions and one from Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

During the festival which will last until March 28, there are different kinds of colourful kites on sale at the Imperial Plaza and the East Sea resort.
