In 3 recent years, educational sector has positively spurred application of information technology in teaching and learning to meet requirements of educational renewal and manpower training. Most of teachers are fluent in using computers and internet to cater for their teaching.   IT acceleration helps improve quality of teaching and learning.

According to new instruction, the provincial department of Education and Training asks teachers to use IT in teaching. The department also launches emulation movement themed “every teacher sets out at least an electric lesson” to enhance quality of teaching and learning.

In reality, IT application has been applied since previous school years. In Binh Duong, primary schools help students accustom to computing, so students are interested in learning.

Nham Thi Thuy, teacher of Dong Hoa primary school in Di An town, said “IT application into teaching creates a comfortable learning ambience for students and helps them remember lessons longer”.

Most of the local schools have used computers to compose and store documents and manage dossiers and so on. Tran Duy Ty, headmaster of Phuoc Vinh high school in Phu Giao district, said “Most of the teachers have applied IT into their teaching. The school also manages academic marks of students by computers”.

In this school year, the local education and training sector has kept applying IT into teaching and learning to develop IT in the following years.
