Italian firms explore cooperation and investment opportunities in Binh Duong

On September 13, Mai Hung Dung, Member of Binh Duong Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, received Enrico Padula, Consul General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, and an Italian business delegation exploring cooperation and investment opportunities in Binh Duong.

Enrico Padula expressed his impression of the strong development of Binh Duong province, especially technical infrastructure and transportation. Through his visit, he hopes to open up many cooperation opportunities for Italian firms in Binh Duong. Enrico hopes that the cooperative relationship between Italy and Vietnam in general, and Binh Duong in particular, would increasingly develop in many fields.

At the meeting, Dung said that the province aims for sustainable development that goes hand in hand with environmental protection. He also wants to expand cooperation with businesses from Europe in general and Italian businesses in particular. Dung highly appreciates businesses from Europe, especially in their policies on dealing with workers as well as their responsibility towards environmental protection.
