Japan’s IHI Corporation seeks to develop high technology, traffic infrastructure in Binh Duong

Early December 27, Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting with Konosuke Yoshii, Vietnam Business Development Director of IHI Corporation's Business Division and International Business Development Director of the corporation’s Infrastructure Division. The meeting focused on discussions about developing traffic infrastructure and high technology in the province.

Mr. Konosuke Yoshii stated that IHI is a heavy industry corporation operating in various business scopes and has successfully implemented many projects in Vietnam. Recently, IHI Corporation has actively studied the current situation and highly appreciated the economic development potential of Binh Duong province. The corporation expresses its desire to participate in Binh Duong's dynamic development process, with a focus on transportation infrastructure and high technology.

Provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Van Minh welcomed IHI Corporation's investment in Binh Duong, particularly in the fields of traffic infrastructure and high technology. The province hopes that the corporation will further explore and develop urban projects such as public transportation (TOD), metro rail transit (MRT), light rail transit (LRT) and green industries…Provincial leaders are committed to supporting and facilitating the corporation's investment activities in the province, contributing to Binh Duong's socio-economic development and the corporation's success.
