Currently, there are 11 enterprises of Toyama prefecture investing in Binh Duong province. The prefecture’s authorities have conducted a survey showing that Japanese enterprises are interested in investing in Vietnam, especially Binh Duong province. Therefore, Toyama prefecture wanted to promote cultural and economic exchanges with Vietnam, including Binh Duong province.

Mr. Danh said that Binh Duong is one of Vietnam’s leading localities in terms of investment attraction. Up to now, the province has built 29 industrial parks, with a total area of nearly 12,700 hectares. In terms of FDI attraction, as of November 30, 2022, the province attracted nearly US$ 40 billion, with 4,082 projects from 65 nations and territories, of which Japan ranked second with 350 enterprises, investment capital of nearly US$ 6 billion. The province has constantly improved the local investment climate, reformed administrative procedures, paid attention to infrastructure investment, made smart city construction... Binh Duong province wanted that enterprises from Toyama prefecture will make investment in such fields as high-tech industries that are environmentally friendly, less labor intensive with high added value that the province is very interested in.

In order to promote cultural and economic exchanges between Binh Duong province and Toyama prefecture, Mr. Danh asked for departments, agencies and sectors to further provide the delegation with sufficient information so that the two sides can see cooperation opportunities in the soonest time.
