Many practical programs

According to Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Dau Mot City, along with implementing key tasks during the term and each year, in recent times, the Fatherland Front system and member organizations have actively responded to the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" according to Project No. 04/DA-MTTW-BTT dated December 28, 2015 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on implementation of the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized cities". Besides, the Fatherland Front system from the city to the grassroots organized animated activities according to Project No. 02-DA/TU, dated July 23, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on "Mass mobilization participate in building a cultural and civilized lifestyle" in Binh Duong province in the period 2021-2025 in combination with a project to improve the quality of the campaign "Building an cultural and civilized lifestyle" in the city.

The highlight in implementing the cultural and civilized lifestyle in Thu Dau Mot City is the focus on building "3-no city, 3-yes neighborhood" (period 2016-2020); "City of 3 nos, 4 goods", "5-exemplary citizen" (period 2021-2025) and the movement "All people unite to build cultural life". Tran Dong Thanh, Vice Chairman of Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Dau Mot City, said that the Standing Committee of the city Fatherland Front Committee proactively set up and signed programs of coordination and consultation with socio-political organizations to implement the programs and campaigns; At the same time, integrated coordination plans with relevant departments and branches to organize implementation. At the same time, Fatherland Front Committee at all levels from city to grassroots continued to coordinate with relevant units to implement tasks of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life". Thanks to this, the registration rate for cultural titles is increasing and the quality of titles is improved. At the beginning of the term, the whole city had 48,317 households achieving cultural family status, a rate of 98.4%; by the end of the term, there were 52,615 households achieving cultural family status, a rate of 99.27%.

Maintain good programs

With a pivotal role in implementing programs and campaigns to build urban cultural lifestyle, the Fatherland Front Committee of the city and wards has focused on extensive propaganda among officials, union members, members, and core forces of the Fatherland Front and the people about the purpose, meaning, and contents of the campaign, criteria of "City of 3 nos, 4 good", "Citizen of 5 exemplary" and building "City of no trash". On the other hand, the Fatherland Front system from city to grassroots focuses on mobilizing social resources to join hands with the State in investing in transportation projects and urban upgrading.

According to the Standing Board of the City Fatherland Front Committee, during the 2019-2024 term, people contributed more than 5.49 billion VND and donated 2,862 square meters of land and 618 labor days... At the same time, the Fatherland Front and other organizations propagated and mobilized people to practice urban cultural and civilized lifestyle...; Thereby building the image of Thu people as "loving, kind, and civilized" and building a "green, clean, beautiful, and safe" city.

Mr. Tran Dong Thanh said that the coordination and integration of implementing the campaign "All people unite to build a civilized city" with national target programs and patriotic emulation movements in the city has brought practical results, promoting the strength and creativity of the people. Over the past 5 years, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and wards continued to maintain 112 existing programs and build 117 new programs to effectively deploy patriotic campaigns and emulation movements; as a result, many typical neighborhoods and typical individuals have been praised, creating a strong spillover and impact throughout society.

Some meaningful and practical programs are: motorbike taxi group "For a civilized city", "The arms of gratitude, lifting the steps of the poor and disadvantaged", "The self-management group to protect the environment and respond to climate change” and launch the program of "City without garbage"; a program encourages dignitaries, civil servants, nuns, monks, Buddhists, and Catholics in the city to participate in implementing the criteria of "5-exemplary citizens" and building "City of trash-free street", contest "Civilized, green, clean, beautiful streets through photos", "Trash-free neighborhood - Garbage-free route (alley)"...

In addition, the Fatherland Front of wards also built and maintained many outstanding activities for ensuring social security, urban civilization, environmental protection, security and order, digital transformation... In addition, the work of mobilizing people to actively participate in activities to maintain hygiene and protect the environment is also carried out by the Fatherland Front from the city to the grassroots. This has helped the entire political system of the city build Thu Dau Mot City more modern, civilized, meaningful and worth living.
