Joint program between provincial Military Command, Veterans Association under review

On the afternoon of September 16, provincial Military Command and Veterans Association held a conference to review a joint program for the period of 2017-2022, in attendance of Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Over the past 5 years, the two units effectively implement the joint program with such significant activities as participating in national security-defense education, solving policies for the targeted subjects; carrying out the task of recruiting and calling for citizens to enlist, welcoming demobilized soldiers returning to their localities and providing them with vocational training; mobilizing organizations, individuals to build 79 gratitude, “great unity” houses for veterans, cadres of armed forces with a total value of nearly VND 4.6 billion...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Loc spoke highly of the results of cooperation between the two units. In the coming time, they need to regularly promote political and ideological education, thoroughly grasp the directives and resolutions of all-level authorities;  have good coordination in implementing social policies, movements and campaigns launched by the central and local authorities...
