Currently, in addition to the three press agencies of the province namely Binh Duong Newspaper, Binh Duong Radio and Television Station, and Binh Duong Arts Magazine, many resident press agencies of the Central and outside the province are also operating like Nhan Dan, Vietnam News Agency, Lao Dong, Tien Phong, Thanh Nien, Tuoi Tre, Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper. Journalists, reporters, central press agencies inside and outside the province have always accompanied and actively contributed to the development process of the province.

In particular, the press agencies have made great innovations by improving the quality of the program to promptly reflect the current issues and attract a lot of attention from the audience, listeners and readers.The reports and news stories with multimedia communication, especially on social networking platforms such as YouTube, Zalo, Facebook are the vivid examples.

Along with that, the central press agencies inside and outside the province have also focused on reflecting the positive impacts from the support policies, the administration of the provincial authorities at all levels in reviewing and removing obstacles and problems of the business community, attracting investments, ensuring social security and welfare, administrative reform, building e-government, digital transformation and information technology application for the construction of Binh Duong smart city.

Journalist Trinh Binh - Head of Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper and Secretary of Binh Duong Resident Correspondent's Branch, said that Binh Duong is a locality in the center of the southern key economic region with potentials for public development of industry, urban, service; at the same time, it is also a place to store and preserve the cultural and historical values of a land with a development length of more than 300 years. Currently, the province has been working with other provinces and cities to accelerate construction building regional linkage infrastructure, proposing many practical problems for journalists to work on.

“Therefore, I hope that in the coming time, leaders of agencies, departments and branches of the province will continue to create favorable conditions for reporters to work locally. This is also an encouragement of the working spirit of local journalists to commit to having good journalistic products and effective propaganda; thereby, contributing to propaganda and encouragement for Binh Duong to continue to successfully implement the goals and tasks of 2023 and the whole 2020-2025 term," said journalist Trinh Binh.

Journalist Duong Chi Tuong - Head of the permanent office of the Vietnam News Agency in Binh Duong, said that before the rapid development of social networks in the past time, the mainstream press that orients public opinion is being increasingly favored by people who always wait for the official information. In order to keep up with the direction of public opinion, Binh Duong has over the years emphasized its responsibility in providing information with the spirit of giving feedback to the press agencies faster and more timely.

Specifically, the province always pays attention to and creates favorable conditions for journalists and reporters of press agencies operating in the province to access diverse news sources through press conferences to provide information monthly and quarterly about socio-economic situation and organize special information sessions. Through press conferences, departments and sectors have provided official information, helping press agencies even capture information in a timely manner; and at the same time, it helps press agencies to interact in two ways and have official information on issues of public concern. After each case reported by the press, the province also directed to grasp the situation and have timely solutions to handle, especially outstanding and pressing issues; thereby, strengthening people's confidence in the community, the leadership of the party committees, and the administration of the government at all levels.

“In the coming time, I hope that Binh Duong province will continue to regularly keep in contact, exchange, share and provide timely information to the press agencies on related issues, as well as the handling of issues and cases from the press's reflections to timely feedback to readers and people, contributing to creating consensus and stabilizing the society," journalist Duong Chi Tuong said.

Le Huu Phuoc - former head of the provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Division, Chairman of Binh Duong Journalists Association, said that with the positive results that the province has achieved in various fields in recent years and in addition to the efforts of the province to overcome difficulties of the whole political system from the province to the grassroots, great contribution from the central press agencies inside and outside the province has also noted. Press agencies operating in the province have closely followed political tasks, constantly improving the quality of news and articles to propagandize, promote and contribute to building Binh Duong province to develop harmoniously, humanely and sustainably while building an effective business and investment environment, contributing to the development of the region and the whole country.
