Journalists contribute to development process

In recent years, journalism in Binh Duong Province has contributed to the integration and development by reporting all aspects of social life in creative manner.

 Up to date, 5 press agencies with over 300 journalists and hundreds of technicians are present in Binh Duong to constantly report information to local authority and the public.

 Now, it can be concluded that journalism in Binh Duong has bridged the Party, the State and the people in propagating, orienting and encouraging guidelines and policies of the Party and State and a forum for people to express themselves. Meantime, Binh Duong Newspapers has active role in promoting socio-economic development by educating patriotism and broadcasting culture and enhancing social responsibilities with trust in pathway to socialism.

 Journalists are growing in numbers, said Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nam who is Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong Journalists Association after a quarter of a century. Under demands of reforms, development and integration, activities of journalists in managing and inspecting guidelines and policies.

 He hopes that journalists in Binh Duong Province will be well trained and can learn and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings regarding ethics.

“To inherit and promote legacy, revolutionary journalism in Vietnam for the last 86 years has built up trust in the public for the cause of building and protecting the nation,” said Nam.
