Jubilant festival of people unity in the residential areas

Yesterday morning of November 9-11, Binh Phuoc Quarter in Binh Nham Ward of Thuan An Town had formally organized the Festival of People Unity.  Those were practical activities to celebrate the success of the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in Vietnam and celebrate the 84 of establishment of the National Front for the Unified Vietnam (from 18/11/1930 to 18/11/2014).

Attending the festival was Mr. Le Thanh Cung, Chair of PPC and Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Lan, Deputy Chair of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, leaders of towns and wards and a large number of people in Binh Phuoc Quarter. From the early morning, the festival at the quarter has become heated with lion dance, plays, and the entertainment show with the theme of praising the motherland, the country, and President Ho Chi Minh ...

At the ceremony, leaders and the people in Binh Phuoc Quarter reviewed the tradition of the National Front of the Unified Vietnam and position of VFFin the revolution cause today; evaluating the results of the campaign of "All people unifying to build cultural life at residential areas" in 2014.

Binh Phuoc Quarter currently has 1,074 households, of which 1,040 households were rated cultural family. In 2014, the implementation of the campaign "All people unifying to build cultural life at residential areas" local people have agreed to participate enthusiastically, promoting their ownership and contribution to building the strong Party and authority, the front committees and unions; people's life has gradually improved and community cohesion grew.

Speaking at the festival, Mr. Le Thanh Cung, the PPC Chair, praised the outstanding achievements that the quarter has achieved over the years; while suggesting the leaders in towns, wards and quarter board to reach for local continual deepen political activities, integrated to the reality to achieve consensus, higher agreements of the people; livehood interest of the people, socially-privileged families, families of poverty or near poverty; mutual support to make effective economic yields...

It is to say that the festival is when localities launch their patriotic movements.  At Quarter 9 in Phuoc Vinh Township, Phu Giao District, from the early morning many households in the quarter gathered at the office of the quarter to decorate the hall and clean up roads leading to the venue of the festival.

Smiles were present on faces of local people. In the assembly, the folk games such as tug of war, smashing the piggy-bank, sack jumping have attracted the participation of the people, regardless of age.  The atmosphere of fun atmosphere, harmony, and solidarity spread community.

Mr. Le Ba Uoc, a resident of the quarter said that every year on the occasion, the people in ther quarter look forward to the festival.  "This year we are very happy as the quarter was selected as 1 of the two 2 pivotal quarters of the district.  Through the movement of the whole people unifying to build cultural life at residential areas, as well as through the festival, the village bonds are tighter.

This is the basis for us to continue performing the movement" Uoc said cheerfully. During the festival, in addition to the reports about the situation of the area and the promotion of democracy by the expression of feelings, thoughts, feelings and contributions to the movement of "All people unifying to build cultural life at residential areas."

In many localities, such as Cong Xanh Hamlet in Tan Binh Commune of North Tan Uyen District and Hamlet No. 4 of Hoi Nghia Commune in Tan Uyen Town, local people were eager to contribute their opinions.Mr. Do Huu Phong, Party Secretary of Tan Binh Commune Party Committee in North Tan Uyen District said that the festival was an opportunity for leaders of the local Party committee and authority to be closer to the people, thereby promoting the democratic spirit of the people . In the spirit of solidarity and commitment, the festival has really become a place of solidarity, creating important chemistry for community cohesion and successful implementation of the tasks of socio-economic development of the localities.
