Key positions and titles to People’s Council and People’s Committee elected

Yesterday’s session of the 8th legislature People’s Council of the 2011-16 tenure was concluded.  Approvals were made to reports on election of delegates to the 8th legislature People’s Council of the 2011-16 tenure, on accreditation of delegate eligibility and election of key positions and titles to People’s Committee and People’s Council. A public jury under Provincial People’s Court was also elected.

The results are as followed:

 

CPVCC Commissioner Mai The Trung (R) presents flowers to celebrate Chairman and Deputy Chairs of the 8th legislature People’s Council.

 

-       Mr. Vu Minh Sang, permanent Deputy Secretary to Provincial Party Committee, was elected Chairman of People’s Council;

-       Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Van was elected Deputy Chair and Head of Economics and Policies;

-       Mrs. Mai Thi Dung was elected permanent Commissioner of People’s Council

-       Mr. Nguyen Minh Giao, Head of Education and Propaganda under Party Committee, was elected Head of Culture and Society Board of People’s Council;

-       Mr. Le Van Dan, Chief of Inspection Commission under Party Committee, was elected Head of Law-marking Board of People’s Council;

-       Mr. Le Thanh Cung was elected Chairma of People’s Committee;

-       Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Mr. Tran Van Nam, Mr. Huynh Van Nhi was elected Deputy Chairs of People’s Committee.

 

Addressing the meeting, CPVCC Commissioner Mai The Trung stressed that the 2011-16 is of important stage to promote faster and more sustainable development of Binh Duong Province to the target of a modern, civilized and beautiful urban. The support of public people is vital to effective operation of People’s Council, he said. He also proposed improvement of role and responsibilities of the People’s Council in decision-making as well as power limits to promote potientials and strength ffor the cause of socio-economic development.

 

Meantime, the newly re-elected Chair, Mr. Vu Minh Sang confirmed the success of the first session after election and believed that good beginning would bring about active and quality operation. On behalf of People’s Council, he suggested that the next sessions should be organized in order of officials and effective operation in terms of unity, authority and administrative reforms. He also called for improving roles of management and responsibilities of standing committee under People’s Council

On this occasion, Provincial People’s Committee is honored with Third Rank Labor Decoration awarded by State’s President.
