Key titles selected in the first session of Thu Dau Mot Town People’s Council

The 10th legislature of Thu Dau Mot Town People’s Council has organized its first session to elect key positions and annouce reports on proposals of the public, meeting with voters, delegate eligibility and positions to People’s Council and People’s Committee and public jury of Thu Dau Mot Town for 2011-16 tenure.

Mr. Pham Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the town’s Party Committee, was voted as Chairman of People’s Council. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dzung was voted as Deputy Chair of People’s Council. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet was voted as permanent commissioner to People’s Council. Meanwhile, at People’s Committee level, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tai, Mrs. Vo Tran Phuong Mai, Mr. Nguyen Van Dong and Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha was elected as one Chairman and three Deputy Chairs respectively.

Addressing the meeting, Provincial People’s Council Chairman Vu Minh Sang noted that the People’s Council and People’s Committee of Thu Dau Mot Town should concentrate on organization, training, and programs to enhance their roles and responsibilities as entrusted by voters.
