Labor Confederation of Di An Town to promote good the role at grassroots level

In 2019, Labor Confederation of Di An Town made efforts to complete the assigned tasks, and exceeded targets, such as the establishment of grassroots trade unions, development of union membership, training of trade union knowledge and Party development work, signing collective labor agreements...

Besides, Labor Confederation of Di An Town increased law communication and education for workers at lodging houses and enterprises in the area; well implemented emulation movements in production, encouraging technical improvement and increasing labor productivity. A number of affiliated trade unions collaborated with local authorities and businesses to build houses, dormitories, amusement parks, and held contests to improve the spiritual life of workers. Labor Confederation of Di An Town also established 38 trade unions, bringing the total number of grassroots trade unions in the town to 400 with 39,924 union members / 42,544 workers. Trade unions well performed the function of representing, taking care of and protecting the rights of union members and workers; well organized cultural and sports movements to attract a large number of union membership.

In the coming time, Labor Confederation of Di An Town will continue to improve the quality of trade union activities, promote the role of trade union at grassroots level; strengthen supervision of payment of salaries, bonuses and annual leave at businesses; attaching importance to the communication of the ideologies to union members and workers. In the immediate future, local trade unions will take initiative in activities to take care of workers on Lunar New Year 2020.
