Banks bringing many chances for low incomers to purchase social houses include 5 banks located at the province. They consist of BIDV, Vietcombank, VietinBank, Agribank and MHB. Accordingly, these banks have started launching a credit package with preferential rates of 6% per year in a loan duration of 10 years for cadres, public servants, armed forces, low incomers, etc in the province.

Becamex IDC’s management office of social housing at Hoa Loi urban area has become lively, owing to survey and registration of buying houses from laborers working at Dong An 2, VSIP 2, Dai Dang industrial parks.

Working at a foreign business at Dong An 2 IP, Nguyen Van Manh from the central province of Binh Thuan said that in the past he intended to buy a social house but he had to stop this thinking, owing to high rate with 14-15% per year. Recently, after hearing about the preferential credit package, he enjoys more chance to possess a social house.

Bui Van Chien, vice general director of Becamex IDC said that social housing program has been effectively launched by Becamex IDC. In 2013, Becamex IDC has built more than 5,000 apartments to cater for laborers across industrial parks. At present, the company has handed thousands of apartments over laborers and many of them have been granted home numbers by functional agencies. The preferential credit package is a very good chance for laborers to approach loans for buying social houses in Binh Duong in general and in projects of Becamex IDC in particular.

Launching for objects in need

Bui Van Nu, director of the State Bank’s Binh Duon branch said that the VND30tril preferential credit package launched across nationwide will spend 70% of loan for objects to buying social and commercial houses and the remaining 30% for investors of social housing projects. In the province, cooperation between Becamex IDC and banks will timely create best opportunities for laborers to possess houses, contributing to sustainable industrial development.

Meanwhile, BIDV Binh Duong vice general director Tran Xuan Hoang said that to offer favorable conditions for social house buyers, BIDV pledges to solve loan dossiers within 4 days.

Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee said that the preferential credit packages is very significant and contains a great humanity. Therefore, units relating to the package should excel the State’s policies and ensure launch this package to objects in need.

Binh Duong now has 2,167 foreign projects and more than 14,000 local ones. Over the past time, local businesses have placed jobs for over 1 million laborers, over 700,000 of whom are from other localities. Till 2015, the total local manpower will account for over 1.2million people, 850,000 of whom are immigrant workers.
