Lacquer and pottery villages to be key products in community tourism development

Monday, 05/05/2025

According to the plan to implement the community tourism development project in Binh Duong province, the expected products are as follows: Tuong Binh Hiep lacquer craft village (Thu Dau Mot city); traditional crafts (ceramics), orchards, fruit farms (Thuan An city, Tan Uyen city); high-tech farms, eco-tourism areas and spots; farms, fruit gardens (Phu Giao district, North Tan Uyen district...) and eco-tourism spots such as Dau Tieng reservoir, Can Nom reservoir, Truc stream... (Dau Tieng district) will be the key products to develop community tourism.

Many young tourists are eager to experience both sightseeing and actively participating in the process of making a ceramic product.

Also, according to this plan, the goal for 2025 is to develop recognized community tourism sites (products) that are linked to preserved agriculture, culture, traditional craft villages, or ecological environments. Localities with tourism potential should aim to create at least one model of a community tourism chain integrated with new rural development initiatives. Additionally, products from the OCOP program should be connected to the development of community tourism. The province strives for 100% community tourism business locations to be introduced and promoted effectively and encourages the use of information technology in operations. By 2030, areas with potential for community tourism development will be fully utilized to create community tourism products that cater to tourists.
