Lai Ly Huynh wins gold, bronze medals at 2016 national Xiangqi first division championship

Lai Ly Huynh of Binh Duong yesterday grasped a gold medal in the men’s rapid event at the 2016 National Chinese Chess (Xiangqi) First Division Championship that is taking place in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho. He also won a bronze medal in the men’s blitz event.

At the tournament, Binh Duong has a total of 10 chess players (8 male, 3 female) competing in three events: rapid, blitz and standard. They are competing in the men and women’s standard events. The tournament will conclude on May 26 ahead.
