"Lai Thieu ripe fruit season" festival 2023 attracts more than 150,000 visitors

On July 10, Thuan An city held a meeting to summarize the 2023 festival "Lai Thieu ripe fruit season".

According to the Organizing Committee, this year's festival attracted more than 150,000 visitors coming to entertain and shop. The total amount of fruit sold during the festival is estimated at 20 tons. The festival's activities helped introduce and promote Lai Thieu orchards and left beautiful impressions on the hearts of visitors.

The total budget for this year's festival was more than 2.1 billion VND, of which more than 1.3 billion VND was financed by social mobilization sources.

At the meeting, leaders of Thuan An city asked functional units to strengthen close links with businesses and gardeners, call on farmers having orchards in the area to actively cooperate with the local government to continue to maintain and develop the local specialty fruit orchards as well as develop the festival "Lai Thieu in the ripe fruit season" to become a traditional brand to promote local tourism economic development, especially orchard-based eco-tourism.
