The 2013 international youth football championship for ethnic minorities ended on January 20 at the Kon Tum provincial Stadium, honoring players from Lam Dong team.  

Outstanding footballers from Lam Dong province beat 2-0 before the host Kon Tum players in an interesting final match. The two scored goals happened in the second half.

 After nine-day competition, the tournament has contributed to enhance the international solidarity between Vietnam, Lao PDR and Cambodia youth generation, and response to the “All people practice physical health following late President Ho Chi Minh’s example” campaign as well.

It is one of activities welcoming the 100th anniversary of the Kon Tum province's establishment (February 9, 1913 – February 9, 2013).

The organizing board (the Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Kon Tum provincial People’s Committee) also presented two 3rd prizes to Gia Lai and Dak Lak teams, and three consolidation prizes to players from Attapeu (Laos), Rattanakiri (Cambodia) and Dak Nong provinces./.
