A stone stele to commemorate late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet has been erected in a park in Vung Liem district, the southern province of Vinh Long – his homeland.The 1.7ha, VND40bil monument area is located at Vung Liem township and consists of 4 main parts. The first part is Vung Linh Lake, next is an area displaying photos, keepsakes relating to late PM Vo Van Kiet's life and career, area of holding festivals and cultural activities.In addition, the monument has an orchard.
