Leader of MoPS visits, encourages soldiers at Phu Cuong bridge checkpoint

On July 15, Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Colonel Ngo Xuan Phu, Deputy Director of provincial Police Agency visited and encouraged soldiers who are on the front lines of the fight against Covid-19 pandemic at Phu Cuong bridge checkpoint.

At the checkpoint, Major General Le Quoc Hung extended best regards to the soldiers, gave them gifts while wishing them good health. He also reminded the soldiers to strengthen propaganda to all people, raising their awareness of Covid-19 prevention and control in the community.

Lieutenant Colonel Ha Thanh Long, Deputy Head of Thu Dau Mot city’s Police Traffic Police Team said that the soldiers at the checkpoint were very honored when being visited and encouraged by leaders of the MoPS and provincial Police Agency. Despite hardships, they always try to well fulfill entrusted tasks.

Prior to that, Phu Cuong bridge checkpoint also arrested many cases of illegal drug transportation, opportunely saved a woman who jumped from the bridge to commit suicide…
