On June 3, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, received the delegation of COEX International Exhibition Center (Korea) led by Lee Dong Ki, Chairman and Director of the center.
At the meeting, Lee Dong Ki thanked Binh Duong provincial leaders for the warm welcome, and said that Binh Duong in particular, Vietnam in general, is the locality that he chose to make his first business trip after taking office. Previously, he had heard a lot and was impressed about the development of Binh Duong, and through this business trip he believed that Binh Duong would become a fast-growing and reach the global level in the very near future.
With the aim of helping businesses to create links, especially with the demand for investing abroad, COEX will enhance the bond with Binh Duong, improve the operational efficiency of Binh Duong World Trade Center (WTCBD). COEX will continue to accompany WTCBD to develop investment and trade promotion activities and convene international exhibitions and fairs. The Korean partner also wished Binh Duong to organize many activities to welcome the 30th anniversary of Vietnam-Korea relation’s establishment, because Binh Duong is a place where Korean businesses operate very effectively.
At the meeting, Nguyen Loc Ha informed COEX about the province's achievements in 2021 and the first months of 2022. He emphasized that despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Binh Duong achieved important economic and social results; especially in building trust with new investors and businesses, including Korean enterprises.
Nguyen Loc Ha also hoped that in the coming time, COEX would continue to support and collaborate with WTCBD in the development of high-quality trade and services in Binh Duong. In particular, he believed that the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KOCHAM)would continue to cooperate with WTC BD to create stronger development. He also thanked and welcomed COEX's contributions to Binh Duong province, connect with businesses, organize activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Vietnam-Korea relation’s establishment.
