Leaders of TDM city visit, congratulate pagodas on “First full moon of the Lunar New Year” festival

Early February 23, a delegation of leaders from TDM city’s Party Committee, People’s Council, Fatherland Front Committee, led by Nguyen Van Dong, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the city’s Party Committee, visited and congratulated the Executive Boards of Thien Hau Lady temple in Bung Cau, Hoi Khanh pagoda, Thien Hau Lady temple in Phu Cuong and Ngoc Binh Buddhist monastery on the occasion of the “First full moon of the Lunar New Year” festival.

In the visiting places, the delegation offered flower baskets, gifts to the Executive Boards of the pagodas while wishing them and Buddhist followers a peaceful and happy “First Full Moon” of the Lunar New Year” festival. Leaders of the city also hailed the efforts by the pagodas in Covid-19 prevention and control; asked for them to further coordinate with the local administration to mobilize nuns, monks and Buddhist followers to well realize Covid-19 prevention and control; well do the “dual goal” of economic development and pandemic prevention, contributing to building a more and more prosperous TDM.

Representatives of the pagodas thanked provincial leaders for their efforts in creating favorable conditions for the local Buddhist establishments and Buddhist dignitaries to take part in social activities. In the coming time, the local Buddhist nuns, monks and followers will continue well realizing the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, live with the motto of “good life, good religion”, joining hands for the common development of the city. Initially, the local pagodas will mobilize Buddhist followers to well realize Covid-19 prevention and control as stipulated.
