Leaders of TDM city welcome Chinese community for 2025 Lantern Festival celebrations
Early February 10, a delegation representing the Chinese community in Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city visited and extended their greetings to leaders of the city on the occasion of the Lantern Festival – the Full Moon Festival of the first lunar month in 2025. The reception was attended by Nguyen Van Dong, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Secretary of TDM city’s Party Committee.
At the meeting, representatives of the Chinese community in TDM city extended their best wishes to leaders of the city as well as all officials and public servants. Thanks to the support and attention of all-level Party committees and authorities of the city and the province, the living standards of the Chinese community in the city have been improved constantly. In addition to their active contributions to social charity work, the Thien Hau Lady Temple Management Board has annually collaborated with local authorities to successfully organize the Thien Hau Lady Temple Festival during the Lantern Festival, promoting a positive and civilized cultural image in Thu land- Binh Duong.
Acknowledging and commending the significant contributions of the Chinese community to the city's development, leaders of the city expressed their confidence in preserving and promoting the cultural identities and traditions of the Chinese community in the city, especially in maintaining and developing the Thien Hau Temple Festival during the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the first lunar month, making it a beautiful feature of the nation's traditional culture.
