Leadership, direction of construction order and land management in Ben Cat under supervision

On the afternoon of November 28, Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee together with the supervisory delegation 933 of provincial Party Standing Committee had a working session with Ben Cat town’s Party Committee on leadership, direction for the local construction order and land management.

The report at the monitoring session showed that the town’s preparation and implementation of the land use planning and the annual land use plan were ensured over the past time. Currently, 217 plots of public land with an area of ​​101 hectares have management rights established and landmarks placed in the field; plots of land for construction of headquarters of public service agencies and public works are being used for the right purposes.

Under the policy of the town’s Party Standing Committee, the town’s People's Committee has set up a detailed plan for the management, use and relocation of 85 cemetery land plots under the roadmap from now to 2025. The town also resolved all complaints and denunciations pertaining to land over the past 3 years.

Regarding construction order management, through inspection of 3,357 cases, 322 cases were detected and handled with a total fine of nearly VND 10 billion. With the drastic direction of the town’s Party Committee, the town dealt with 9 spontaneous housing areas...

At the working session, Ben Cat town also gave petitions on allowing debit for transfer of residential land use rights for disadvantaged and poor households; having mechanisms on salaries and policies for urban order and construction order forces; saying ok to handling spontaneous housing areas...

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Mai Dung requested Ben Cat town’s Party Standing Committee, based on the Law on Local Government and the Land Law, to strengthen leadership and direction of construction order and land management while applying technologies in the management of the process handling wrong cases; mobilize supervision from the community. Local recommendations on inadequacies in the management of public land and land under the vertical management were acknowledged by the delegation and they will be submitted to provincial Party Standing Committee for consideration and settlement in the coming time.
