At the 8th session of the 10th Binh Duong Provincial People's Council, on the basis of a comprehensive assessment of the results achieved, some difficulties and problems in the province's socio-economic development in 2022, many solutions to promote the strong socio-economic development in 2023 has been considered and discussed by the Provincial People's Council.

It is forecasted that in 2023, the world’s economy would still face challenges and unexpected changes.

However, the socio-economic development results in 2022 and previous years, the efforts and determination of the whole political system, people of all classes, and business community in the province will be the foundation for Binh Duong continues to overcome difficulties and take advantage of opportunities to promote socio-economic development.

Among many solutions to stimulate growth, public investment is worth mentioning. Public investment will play a leading role, create a driving force for development. According to the plan, in 2023, the province will drastically implementing many key projects, such as Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4, Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway, National Highway 13, My Phuoc - Tan Van; traffic intersections connecting Ho Chi Minh City and seaports. The province also pools capital sources to complete the North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang power generation route and the connecting route Phu Giao - Dong Phu in 2023...; especially the pre-feasibility study of Bau Bang - Di An - Cai Mep railway line...

These are key infrastructure projects of great significance to create a breakthrough for the province in 2023 and the following years. These public investment projects aim to modernize and synchronize socio-economic infrastructure, improve competitiveness, and create an increasingly attractive investment environment for the province. Not only that, for projects such as Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4, Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway, National Highway 13, etc., these will also strengthen regional connectivity, open a corridor, give more room for new development. Besides, the focus on public investment also creates an interdisciplinary promotion, helping other sectors in the economy have more favorable conditions for development...

Therefore, promoting the implementation of public investment is not only a solution to overcome shortcomings in the disbursement of public investment capital, but also has the meaning of leading and promoting economic growth in 2023, creating a premise for the socio-economic development of the province in the following years.
