Learning from President Ho Chi Minh at the smallest

Joining up the national activities celebrating 125^th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 to May 19, 2015), on May 18, Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee Standing Board holds meeting to sum up 4 years of implementation of Directive No. 03-CT/TW of Politburo on continual promotion of learning and following President Ho Chi Minh and awards to collectives and individuals in the learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.

Good models initiated by collectives

In 4 years of implementing Directive No. 03 of Politburo on continual promotion of learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples, under frequent and tight direction of all-level Party organizations and enthusiastic participation of officers, Party members, and the public, great results have been achieved, facilitating the building up of the Party and authority as well as success of local political duties. The learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples has robustly transformed the attitude of officers and Party members regarding their manner, responsibility, and working style to service the public.

Many collectives have overcome difficulties to successfully implement their assignments. Particularly, Di An Town Youth’s League have built up various learning models for plenty of its members and youths. Thuan An Town Association of Women also implement various emulation movements while upholding the best characteristics of Vietnamese women. Ben Cat Town Party Committee also built up model of public attachment to gain public support. An Son Commune Party Cell in Thuan An Town has maintained flag salute routine every week while ensuring story telling about President Ho Chi Minh with lessons learned. In 4 years, majority of officers, Party members and the public have joined up the learning and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples, of which, story-telling has proved to be the best approach.

Besides, many collectives integrated the learning and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples into their operations to create the best outcomes.

Many individual models emerged

Aside from collectives of diversified, effective, and creative forms of learning and following President Ho Chi Minh, the Directive 03 implementation has raised up various model individuals across the province in the movement. They have become those of good observation of guidelines and decisions of the Party and the State’s laws while being extremely active in movements of people support and charity drives.

The learning and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples have outspreaded to the officers, Party members, and the whole society. Everyone from leadership officers to the common people can learn and follow President Ho Chi Minh in their daily life. As Mrs. Nguyen Thi Loan, working at Ben Cat Town Party Committee Office, asserted that the learning and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples should not be things of greatness but the common daily life and the priority of people’s benefits before personal ones. It is the most practical way to learn and follow President Ho Chi Minh.
