"Learning to be police officers" program kicked off

On June 25, provincial Youth Union, Police Agency and Children's Cultural House co-organized a ceremony to kick off the "Learning to be police officers" program with the theme of "Travelling to learn - experience to grow up". The event was attended by Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of provincial People's Council.

The program included 122 campers aged 9 to 15. During the five-day program (from June 25 to 29), children will experience and train in an environment similar to that of police officers. The program’s activities include training as firefighters and participating in workshops on life, soft skills...

Speaking at the program, Le Tuan Anh, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Youth Union and Chairman of provincial Youth Pioneer Organization stated that the program aims at creating a dynamic environment and a healthy, beneficial recreational space for children. More importantly, the program highlights the image of the People's Police officers to educate children on patriotism, pride in the nation's heroic traditions and to enhance their sense of discipline, independence, and determination to overcome difficulties. Additionally, it equips them with basic knowledge of life skills in the society.
