“Leaving No One Behind”

Update: 02-03-2023 | 11:14:31

Binh Duong is one of the leading regions in the country in terms of industrial production.  With responsibility and affection, the work of taking care of the lives of the poor has always received special attention to create conditions for them to better their lives. In addition, all classes of people, mass organizations, socio-political organizations, businesses, and benefactors also actively participate in supporting and helping the poor, with the goal of "not letting anyone left behind”.

For many years, identifying poverty reduction as a top priority in socio-economic development policies, Binh Duong has issued specific action plans for each period with many policies and solutions, such as preferential loans, housing support, medical support, education, vocational training, job creation... Along with the whole country, over the years, Binh Duong has always well implemented policies to take care of and support poor households. From funds of this program, projects, sectors and localities invested in infrastructure, supported housing, production development, and provided vocational training. Agencies, businesses, civil servants and people in the province actively responded and contributed to the Fund "For the Poor" launched by the Fatherland Front at all levels.

Localities and units, depending on specific conditions, also deploy many models and activities to help poor households such as establishing groups of households to help each other do business, women's savings groups, poor women's funds, farmers' members emulate to do good business... The investment and material support of all levels, branches and the whole society is the mainstay and leverage for the poor to have enough capacity and conditions to escape poverty sustainably.

Joining hands for the poor, "leaving no one behind" has created a spillover in the community to take care of and help poor, near-poor households, and people having extremely difficult circumstances to escape poverty, stabilize life, contribute to the good implementation of social security policies. However, in order not to be left behind, the poor themselves must also raise their sense of self-reliance and self-reliance, raise awareness, and aspire to get out of poverty sustainably, and avoid the thought of waiting and depending on the State's policies and the support of the society.
