Update: 30-05-2024 | 13:23:38

Up to the present time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the commune, ward, and township level for the term of 2024-2029 in the province has been basically completed. Along with that, the unit chosen to organize the district-level Fatherland Front Congress has also successfully organized the congress. Through the congress, many valuable experiences will be applied by the Fatherland Front in cities, districts, and towns to make the congress at all levels for the term term of 2024-2029 truly a deep and wide political activity at the grassroots level, a festival of the whole public.

Successful district model congresses

Thủ Dầu Một was chosen by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to be the venue for the district-level Fatherland Front Congress for the term 2024-2029. The highlight of the district-level congress is the well-prepared and comprehensive political report, which objectively evaluates the achieved results, advantages, limitations, causes, and lessons learned during the previous term. At the same time, the congress has set out a new term action program close to reality, closely following the spirit of resolutions of Party congresses at all levels and the political tasks of the locality... The preparation for the congress has also mobilized a sufficient number of front-line officials from 14 wards to participate in decoration, logistics, security, and service before, during, and after the congress. In addition, many initiatives in propaganda work have created a vibrant competitive atmosphere among the people, focusing on the congress through practical projects and tasks.

The congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Thu Dau Mot city for the term of 2024-2029 was successful and excellent.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front in Thủ Dầu Một City and the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Tân Uyên City are the second units to successfully organize the district-level Fatherland Front congress held on May 15 and 16. Mr. Nguyen Tan Thy, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Uyen City, said: "To successfully organize the congress, the Standing Committee of the city's Fatherland Front Committee has proactively developed and implemented plans to organize congresses at all levels based on the leadership and guidance of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the guidance of the Standing Committee of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee. During the preparation process, we focus on several key tasks such as organizing conferences to implement documents related to organizing the People's Congress at the commune and ward levels as the basis for organizing the grassroots level People's Congress; paying attention to directing propaganda before, during, and after the congress through various forms. Personnel work of the new term ensures the quantity, structure, composition, representing various classes of people, ethnic groups, and religions. In particular, we pay special attention to identifying and introducing dedicated individuals to participate in the Fatherland Front Committee of Vietnam for the term of 2024-2029.”

Lessons learned from models

It can be said, success and experience from the congress are important prerequisites for other localities in the province to do better in preparing and organizing the district-level Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, moving towards the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates of Binh Duong province, term of 2024-2029. Therefore, right after the congress, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the province issued a notice on drawing experiences in organizing the district-level congress of the Fatherland Front, emphasizing particularly on key issues that localities need to pay attention to when preparing for the congress.

The Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hang, stated: "The report summarizing the term of the district-level Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress must closely evaluate the actual results achieved, while also pointing out the limitations, weaknesses, and reasons in implementing the resolutions of the previous term; thereby drawing valuable lessons in front activities." Besides, building the personnel project of the Fatherland Front Committee at district level for the term of 2024-2029 is an important content, the personnel preparation process must be based on general cadre standards and meet the front work in the new period; ensuring the composition in accordance with the guidance of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Fatherland Front of Vietnam and the Fatherland Front Committee of the province as well as the regulations of the Charter of the Fatherland Front of the 10th term.”

Along with that, according to Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hang, propaganda work for the congress needs to focus on activities and forms of propaganda before, during, and after the congress, associated with launching special emulation movements to welcome congresses of all levels and implementing construction projects to welcome the congress. The presentation at the congress also needs to pay attention to selecting prominent and appropriate themes.

According to the information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, up to the present time, the organization of district-level Fatherland Front congress is proceeding on schedule. So far, 2 district units have successfully organized the congress; it is expected that the remaining localities will complete the congress in May and June 2024. The provincial Fatherland Front congress for the term 2024-2029 is scheduled to be held in mid-August 2024.
