Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long surveys the organization and streamlining of Public Security apparatus in Binh Duong
On March 3, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and his delegation arrived and worked at Binh Duong Provincial Police. Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

During the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long expressed his appreciation for the efforts and results recently achieved by the Provincial Police. He advised the Provincial Police to continue effectively implementing the Party and State's guidelines and policies, particularly regarding the "reorganization and streamlining of the local police apparatus to ensure effective and efficient operation, fulfilling the requirements and tasks in the new period."
He emphasized the importance of maintaining security and order, as well as preventing sudden and unexpected situations, particularly in crime prevention and control at the local level, especially now that there is no longer a district-level police organization. The working delegation conducted a field survey at Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 1 in Tam Lap Commune, Phu Giao District, and listened to reports regarding the implementation results of tasks related to receiving drug rehabilitation facilities.

To implement Project No. 25 of the Central Public Security Party Committee, which focuses on "continuing to arrange and streamline the organization of the local Public Security apparatus for effective and efficient operation to meet the requirements of the new period," the Provincial Police promptly organized and carried out the project with a strong sense of urgency, effectively "running and lining up at the same time." Notably, they advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on the handover ceremony to receive four tasks from various departments and branches to the Provincial Police.
The Provincial Police have also taken over drug rehabilitation facilities under Provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Youth Volunteer Rehabilitation Facility (managed by Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee), located in Phu Giao district. Immediately after receiving the facility, Provincial Police Department promptly assigned functional units to receive, manage, operate, and ensure the facilities operate continuously, safely, and effectively.
