On September 4, Standing Committee of Thu Dau Mot Youth Union organized a program themed "Lighting up dreams" to award scholarships to disadvantaged students.

Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, gives scholarships to students.

At the program, the City Youth Union awarded 60 scholarships worth 30 million VND to disadvantaged students of primary and junior high schools in the city. Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, said: “Summing up the school year 2021-2022, primary and junior high schools in the city had many students having difficult circumstances, and orphans; and students whose parents are freelance workers with unstable income.

Especially the Covid-19 pandemic has greatly affected the material and spiritual life of students and their families. Understanding the difficult situation of the students, especially when they entered the new school year 2022-2023, the City Youth Union and Saigon Industry and Trade Bank - Binh Duong branch gave scholarships to disadvantaged students. We hope that the program would help them have more favorable conditions to continue going to school".
