Lighting belief club being a support for reforming youngsters

In order to help detoxified youngsters can integrate into community after prison term, Lighting belief Club (hereinafter called Club) under Youth Confederation of Hung Dinh commune, Thuan An town is a support for young people to start again their lives. The Club management board presented themselves on foundation day The Club has 18 members including 3 persons of Management board and 15 members. On the presentation day of the Club, members attended and listened to activity plan. Every member had a different emotion but generally they were happy to become members of this Club. After fulfilling my punishment, I really wanted to return to the normal life, hoped that everyone would not discriminate so that I could integrate into the community”. Nguyen H.N. (a subject after detoxification) said: “As returning to society, we are easily to relapse into opium addict when communicating with unhealthy environment. Thus I hope that we would never return to the old way through useful events of the Club”. The desire of these men was also of other members of the Club. They determine to work together to build up a strong club.The Club has the responsibility of capturing aspiration of young people and then making timely suggestions to local government; universalizing health care programs, vocational supporting policies, job introducing, loan borrowing programs. In addition, the Club has given advices on completing procedures like job application, loan borrowing dossier, vocational files; and also provides noticeable information of Youth Union for youths. Simultaneously, the Club has organized meaningful team activities like helping policy families, street cleaning, cultural – sport activities; discussions with typical examples of young people so that members can understand the meaning of life, strive to become useful citizens to the society.Hung Dinh commune’s Youth Confederation cum the Club Chairman Mr. Tran Khac Thanh said, Club management board believed that the Club would run effectively to educate, reform and give vocational training to its members; support them to reintegrate into the community, reduce relapsing rate. The Club will keep disseminating the Party’s guidelines, State’s laws and regulations among members.
