Loans for poor and near-poor households meet 100% of demand

Vo Van Duc, Director of provincial Bank for Social Policies said that during the 20 past years (from 2002 to 2022), implementing preferential credit policies for the local poor and policy beneficiaries, the province has focused on mobilizing financial resources to better meet loan demands.

As of June 30, 2022, total capital was VND 566 billion, including VND275.3 billion from central capital or 48.6% of total capital and VND290.6 billion from local capital or 51.4% of total capital. The capital for implementation of policy credit programs assigned to mobilize and implement every year increased sharply. The capital transferred by provincial People's Committee and the Government met 100% of beneficiaries ‘loan needs.
