Local coffee price up

Over the past 3 weeks, the world coffee price increased from US$1,200 per ton to $1,342 per ton, surging local coffee price from VND600 to VND800 per kg. In Dac Lac province, coffee price on March 26 was at VND24,300 per kg, a rise of about VND1.800 per kg. The coffee price will increase in the upcoming 2 months.

The reasons of the price hike are from a risk of the depreciation of US dollar and Euro, support from the government and rising demand on materials of world’s big coffee companies.
