Local disable people, orphans and poor patients under good care

Provincial Sponsoring Association for Disable People, Orphans and Poor Patients has just held a conference to review its activities in 2014 and implement tasks through 2015.

The association last year organize a variety of significant activities taking care of the lives of the disabled, orphans and poor patients. Particularly, the association teamed up with relevant agencies to provide cataract surgery for 237 blind people, rehabilitation surgery for 27 disable people, heart surgery for 15 people with heart disease; organize free medical check-ups and medicine for 2,284 poor patients…

The association also mobilized donors to present 23 wheelchairs and 102 bicycles to disable people and orphans; built 6 houses of compassion and 11 toilets; awarded hundreds of scholarships to needy pupils; introduced jobs to 19 disable people and continued carrying out a program on livelihood support for the disable…

For 2015’s orientations, the association will continue upholding achievements done and well realize its role as a bridge between donors, the disable, orphans and poor patients. On this occasion, 17 collectives and 32 individuals were also honored for their contributions to the association’s activities over the past time.
