Local exports gain proposed goals

In the face of inflation, increase on lending interest rate, price hike and so on, many economic experts forecasted that exports would encounter difficulties from previous years. However, timely measures from Government and effective management from the provincial People’s Committee plus efforts from businesses, local exports have obtained remarkable results.

Local export turnover in 2011 has reaped US$10,342mil, a 21.1% increase from the same period last year. Notably, hi-tech fields have showed a strong increase. Specifically, computer and electric component exports have reached US$271.3mil, a 16.5% rise.

The entire province has so far had 1,670 businesses exporting directly to 193 nations and territories.
