Local healthcare sector admits shortcomings thoroughly, comprehensively to complete tasks well

Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee made the statement at a conference to review the local healthcare work in 2022 and deploy key tasks for 2023 held on the morning of January 6.

In 2022, provincial Department of Health opportunely advised plans and implemented flexible and safe adaptation activities while effectively preventing and controlling Covid-19 pandemic and well performing medical examination and treatment at the needs of people's healthcare and protection. So far, the Covid-19 pandemic has been basically controlled, but the sector has still faced such difficulties on material facilities, medical staff, especially at grassroots level; mechanisms, policies, sources for investment...

Speaking at the conference, Mr.Ha emphasized: "Along with the achieved results, the local health sector needs to frankly and comprehensively admit shortcomings for radical solutions so that it is developed commensurate with the local development. The capacity of the health system, especially grassroots healthcare, preventive healthcare is still limited.  Current regulations have faced many obstacles in the implementation process and have not been resolved in time…”.
